Life happens between the BIG moments.

A a college student, I was determined to make a DIFFERENCE in this world, to INSPIRE change in communities, and to love EVERY person the way Jesus loves me.

Back then, I knew it all and believed I could do it all. Today, a half century under my belt, I’ve learned I can do NOTHING without Christ Jesus and I’ve learned NOBODY can have it all.

I’ve learned that life happens in between the BIG moments – between first days and graduations, between introductions and anniversaries, between beginnings and the end.

This blog is my way of sharing a glimpse of how I got here with my mini-me. Hopefully, it will save her some heartache in her journey. More likely, she will just get a kick out of reading her mom’s story – someday.

For now, I am writing under a pseudonym. I’m not bold or brave enough yet to own my story. Maybe through this process, I’ll find my brave.
